Welcome to Shaded Acres RV Park & Campground!

Shaded Acres RV Park & Campground is located on Highway 79 just West of Buffalo, Texas. Our little town is the halfway point between Dallas and Houston. Even though we are just one mile from Interstate 45, you will feel like you are miles away from town when you stay with us.

We are just a short drive away from Jewett, Marquez, Kosse, Centerville, Teague, Fairfield, Oakwood, Franklin, Groesbeck, Normangee and Palestine. Within an hour and a half, you can get to Bryan/College Station, Tyler, Waco, Huntsville, or Corsicana. You can also be fishing or boating on Lake Limestone within 30 minutes. We fish on Lake Limestone often, so ask us and we just might share our favorite spots with you!

We currently have 30 spacious sites all nestled under the shade trees on a beautiful hill. All of our sites have full hookups with 20/30/50 amp electrical, sewer, and water connections. We have plans to expand over the next several years to add more amenities and sites. We hope you enjoy your stay with us and we’ll do everything we can to make sure you do.

Meet the Owners

The Ansleys

Hi there! We are Dylan and Christy Ansley. We both grew up in the area and loved it so much that we are now raising our three young kids here, as well. As a family, we love the outdoors. When we have any free time, you will find us camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, or riding around on the ranger with the kids.

We also have a passion for getting back to the way life used to be: simple. Behind the RV Park is our family farm and homestead where we raise milk cows, beef cattle, pigs, chickens and other types of poultry for our family. It isn’t easy to live a simple life in this day and age, but we have found such joy in it. We hope to spread some of that joy to you when you stay here on our little slice of paradise.

Office Hours: While we are waiting for our office to be completed, we will be available by phone.

Stayed here 2 weeks and was quite happy with it. It was quiet, the lots are shaded and you might occasionally see a llama wander by. It’s very basic... read more
